and grab an unknown star,
I can place it in my pocket,
and hold it in a jar.
I could let it out at night,
as it twinkles in my room,
sprinkling me with stardust,
and wiping away my gloom.
It could sleep upon my pillow,
all snuggled and safe,
it would sing me to sleep,
and warm my soft face.
Yes, if I did catch a star,
it'd be more special than me,
