If you would like a preview of Skim, by Jillian Tamaki and Mariko Tamaki, (they're cousins) this is the place. I have just read it. One thing that attracted me to it is the art style and how the main character reminds of of Heian period faces, those medieval Japanese beauties from The Tale of Genji... moon-faced. And I also went through a short 'Wiccan' phase in early high-school.
