Welcome everyone! I am a mom of two teens who needs a support group for SU. I mean, this is some kind of addiction that I cannot seem to shake.
I live in Mobile, AL but I'm not from here. My interests vary. Primarily I'm a conservative and feel that the liberal mind is such a waste. ;) I'm a Christian, though I fully admit that I don't practice it as I should. I still believe though, and that's the most important thing. I love animals and am partial to dogs and any baby animals. The geek in me loves free open source software such as Firefox. I adore Google services (though their mobile services don't work on my phone *sobs*). I love Gmail and like my cell phone, I don't know how I ever got along without it. I love spectacular photography, anything funny and history, history, history.

Another "best of free software" list. BigLeon makes a decent point about Notepad++ being a text editor and not an office suite, but the list is still a good one despite that it's the same list as everyone else's. There are some lacking categories though too, such as FreeMind (a mind mapping software) and KeyNote an excellent text editor.
