For those of you that have been asking about me, I just returned from India on July 3rd where I conducted some research for Berkeley. I am now packing my bags for Nicaragua to conduct research there. I will not be back until sometime in mid to late August.

The page could do with a revision that linked sources and other information for those interested in getting more than the sound-byte version, but I support the effort 100%. One glaring omission, however, is General Electric, which should be added to the list post-haste.

I love the selection of images she has in her blog. The strategic use of grain, depth, exposure and lighting in each and every one of the photos shows this stumbler has an eye for photographic art that appreciates true photographer talent and inspiration, rather than a photography that relies solely on a digital camera with infinite exposures and photoshop (or one of its no less talentless alternatives).
Kudos to those that keep the tradition of the 35mm alive by relying on an eye and a true understanding of the lens to capture a moment, and kudos to people like pixiestick for having the eye and the taste to discern the true passion and skill that went into capturing each of these images in the moment instead of in the editing room.
