Voted down for the horrid, bright yellow background. Aesthetics are serious business.
Two possibilities here: he's in college and was graded by a teacher's assistant, which would explain why he/she could cleverly retort, OR it's straight up fake. Fake seems likely, but I still smiled.
Someone took the words right out of my mouth. Glad I wasn't the only one screaming irony. Hahahaaa
A neat look at the evolution of cameras since 1839.
"I finally moved past guilt and admitted to myself that I no longer believe in Jesus or the god of the Bible . . . I no longer felt the weight a Christian carries. The weight of guilt, unworthiness and fear of god's judgement."
That's why I liked it. I know that's nothing new, but it's the best/simplest description I've seen about why I chose to leave the faith.
Erg. Another joke stolen and posted on a site as an original idea.
Hmm. I listened to the first video specifically and I wonder if he's done any reading on the relation of the state and the individual in a biopolitical state... He needs to pick up Michel Foucault, Giorgio Agamben, Hannah Arendt, and more and see how he feels then.
I must concede, though, he has some solid arguments of his own.
Some of the coolest and most original art I've seen in a long while. I'd love to try my hand at it someday... Wow.
What a great woman. I wish I had her courage.
Needs a little more after "Are you rich and insane? --> No":
"Do you even care if there's a god?"
As a resident of OK I am beyond disgusted with the anti-choice legislation that keeps passing through. As a woman, I'm scared. If there's anything I know without a doubt about OK's Congress is that it's full of people who don't have a clue what they're doing. This is just one of many cases that make me want to leave this state.
By reading this you'd think that winning big sums from the lottery is common. Hum.
usually i flip away from videos like this, but... hahaha. that's damn adorable.
I have to admit this is one of the funnier columns I've read in a long time, despite the faint tinge of nausea sitting in the pit of my stomach. Knowing my luck, if/when I give birth, such an odd idea will be highly recommended to me, and I'll feel obligated to try it.
interesting idea, but in some cases may be unreasonably optimistic (says the pessimist)
A small article about the man called the "father of color photography" and his previously controversial style. The video is worth watching for more details.
Sure, beauty queens are, for the most part, beautified idiots, but in this case she simply answered the question. I am fully pro gay rights and anti-discrimination, and I do not approve of actions that oppress them in any way. Regardless, this is a case of both sides of the issue severely overreacting; she did nothing but state her opinion, so what makes her an oppressive beast or a hero for "traditional" marriage?
Whenever i read this story, I actually feel embarrassed for her... sick, flushed, exposed, and humiliated. I cannot imagine how it would feel to be where she is now. The idea that no one will pay a price for what that school did is so far from justified it's not even funny.
In the end, I still only drink water. I... like water. Is that so wrong?
