    . . . . miscellanies . . . .
    still dancing....
    i'm considering taking the banana's dance to the streets.
    i mean, it looks low-impact, easy on the knees,
    and, of all things, simply (if a little strangely;-)) happy.

    March 16, 2006:
    been a while now since i've posted any thoughts here.
    and i can't stay 'n chat now either; just came in here to say:
    I'm thinkin'
    [if I'm thinkin' at all, that is... it bein' the hour it is
    and me bein' as blitheringly done in by the day as I damn am...]
    the banana
    oughta put out an exercise video.
    . . .

    . . . . and Non sequiturs . . .
    -~*+*~-~*+*~-~*+*~-~*+*~-~*+*~-
    . . . a pro pos of absolutely nothin' at all:
    major irony about being back in school?
    no damn time to read!
    . . . .
    -~*+*~-~*+*~-~*+*~-~*+*~-~*+*~-
    i think i love that banana.
    . . . yep, it's staying.

    eek. the dear ol' banana seems to be {...sniff...}
    GONE !
    just...
    gone....
    I'm overcome with sadness.
    It captured my fancy early on,
    became the basis of much of my thinking
    about initial organization of this page,
    it set the tone, aided definition,
    ... just plain made me happy.

    ...unless, of course, it was kidnapped....

    [tic...tic.... determined search.... tic... {whew!} ...tic....]
    AHA! NOT gone!
    geeez... cause me a heart attack!
    Nope, not gone after all. Just, apparently, moved.

    ok. ...{sigh} ... guess i can deal wid dat.

    don\'t ask. i have no idea. it seemed innocent enough at the time. ...
    can\'t imagine now what possessed me, but, in the moment,
    i just thought it was sorta cute.
    \"terror alert banana\" it calls itself [for no apparent reason],
    and under it, it said; \"gets yours now\".

    so, wott da hell, i clicked . . .
    and found no banana, no nothin\' at all but one line
    on a plain white background, saying;
    \"Now look what you did.\"

    well. wtf. dunno what i did. but by then determined, for all my silly effort,
    to get this damn dancing banana onto my page one way or another,
    i just went back and photoblogged the crazy thing on the page where i originally found it.

    heh. irritating, inn\'t. it may not be here long.

    update (9/24/07); the banana has, apparently, quit dancing! i\'m unable to get it to do a single hipwiggle now! it just stands there, posed, but quiet... a mere shadow of its formerly happily-active self!
    < > < > I\'m saddened....
    _________
    UPDATE 2: 4/27/09 Well. Waddya know; Iiiiit\'s Baaack ... annnnd... dancing again! It\'s apparently feeling better. As am I ... about damn time, I say. & hello again stumblers! Been a long time!
    §igh...
    oh, and by the way, meepzorp
    [\"proud member of the reality-based community\" as it says]
    is a pretty funny site.
    i think. i meeeeean, i\'m not terribly sure i entirely get it.
    though i do have the feeling that if i were a teenaged male,
    i\'d probably understand it all deeply and completely,
    and so, find it all hysterically funny.
    not being one, however,
    i\'m content to settle for the banana.

       Ok, yes, I do like it, or at least, I like looking at these,
       the end results of his efforts. They're quite fascinating ...
      in a troubling sort of way;
       the implied patience-to-the-nth-degree, the persistence,
      the sheer endurance and single-mindedness.
      So much so, in fact, that I can see a potential
       career for unmedicated obsessive-compulsives.

    If I knew any, I'd pass out decks of cards
    and stand back....

    Oh. But, no. Of course I don't know any....
    They undoubtedly have no time for socializing;
    they're all too busy doing things like this.

    all about cultural theory....
    theories about theory... metatheories on theory...
    and, likely, meta-narratives about the making of metatheory.
    in other words;
    ALL theory, ALL the time.

    just guessin' here now (heh. 'theorizing' i guess you could say.;-)),
    but I suspect that with this
    I am, theoretically, gonna have just hours 'n hours of meta-fun.
