Finally made it to Nashville Friday night, well, just outside of it actually. I got tired of playing Russian Roulette on Priceline.com for the past week, so I opted this time to stay at a suburban hotel outside the city limits. Hotels.com had an excellent guest rating for the Country Inn in nearby Goodlettsville, so I quickly booked for one night there. Bad idea...

After my car was finally released by the auto shop, I hightailed it to the Indiana border on a late Thursday afternoon.

After crying for a while over my beautiful ride while it rolled into the shop, I got my rental and booked a few extra nights in Columbus, Ohio using Priceline...

After an early lunch at Schmidtâ€s Sausage Haus and a visit to Columbusâ€s Hoover Dam, I left in the afternoon to make my way towards Cincinnati and Indianapolis. As I was driving, there was a platform truck maybe a few hundred feet ahead of me....

After staying in Somerset for the night (about 70 miles from Pittsburgh), I got up at the crack of dawn to get to the city early enough for a day of sightseeing. BTW, donâ€t stay at the Americaâ€s Best Value Inn here....
