Should there be higher standards for adoptive parents, period?.."

I'm gonna go with C) our dating is completely wrong and/or they are all hoaxes as curu-larchil points out.

Most parents are aware of the chilling statistics:

That's an epidemic, folks. We all do what we think is best to protect our children from this experience, many of us, while living with the aftermath of our own abuse histories.
