From the page: "But what I do feel â€" and what has been confirmed in Gattoâ€s book â€" is that school is falling short and that just might be their purpose."

From the page: "One of the most focused on areas of homeschooling is planning the schedule. Making lists, setting goals, plotting out the year ahead. Some people need detailed plans to work off of, some prefer a more spontaneous approach. Yet most homeschoolers love having a plan of some kind. From the page: "The point here is to get into the mindset that people can be educated and become successful adults without attending public school. And because I can almost "hear" what you are thinking, no, it is not necessary to have a high school diploma to go to college. "

From the page: "As we prepared for a five hour trek to the beach with several friends and relatives, we came up with the idea to create beach themed activity books for all the kids (and some of the adults!) to help offset riding-induced boredom. We printed out all kinds of free coloring pages, mazes, dot-to-dots, scavenger hunts, maps for license plate games, and lots more. I created a cover using Serif PagePlus (available for free!) and some clip art."
