Longtime attorney, narrow area of practice (representing the disabled and their interests), much interested in law & medicine; eclectic interests in my 'real' life, from the usual suspects - music, art, photography, astronomy, etc, to the truly important, including, but not limited to: economic fairness; universal health care; a living wage - not minimum wage; "Green" consciousness; voting as 'right' not 'privilege'; tax relief for the middle and lower classes; tax payment compulsion for the top 2% and corporations; no government contracts to any corporation with headquarters offshore; elimination of corporate welfare; return of government regulation of all things corporate, e.g. banking, pharmaceuticals, insurance, oil, coal, environmental regs, etc; enforcement of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act; enforcement of FISA; ... I could go on and on and on... but the more I do the more distressed I get at the current state of affairs.
