Edit.... Bethesda included SecuROM, but ONLY in the launcher, and ONLY as a disc check. Launch the game directly (Fallout3.exe, not Fallout3Launcher.exe), and there's no DRM. So I take back about 20% of my "kudos." I still applaud their decision not to adopt draconian DRM methods.

- Website for the upcoming Bionic Commando games. Personally, I'm most excited about Bionic Commando Rearmed, due out some time this month (July), which is supposed to be a scene-for-scene remake of the NES classic, one of my favorite games of all time.

- Fileplanet forces you to get an account (for which they take in your birthdate and zip code) in order to wait 30 minutes in a queue to download a file that's available in ten other places. To make matters worse, their download system uses an ActiveX control, and therefore fails for everyone who is not using Internet Explorer. Big thumbs down for File Planet.
