This maybe the earliest born person ever photographed. But more than that it doesn't seem possible that there is a photograph of a man that cross the Delaware with Washington in 1776 and would have know people born in the 1600's but there it is. A photographic connection to a time very different and more removed form us than by the centuries alone.
