Kamilah is a 30 year old woman from Indianapolis, Indiana, USA

I work for a bank in internal control. My bachelor's is in fine arts. I am trying to get more active as an artist again. Right now I'm test-driving a few new hobbies to see if any get my creativity going again. I like to ride my bike, especially on the Monon Trail. I like reading. Many of my website choices here will have an artistic and/or scientific nerdy flavor to them. Stay awhile and enjoy the gems I've painstakingly unearthed from the web. I feel sad that I have kind of abandoned StumbleUpon. I live on FriendFeed now. friendfeed.com/kmeelah [friendfeed.com/kmeelah] If SU hadn't gotten blocked at work, and if it had a way to comment on posts, I might have stayed. It's still good for checking out the reputation of a given site. I haven't seen anything worthy of a Stumble that hasn't been Stumbled to death already in a long time. I have 60 subscribers at FriendFeed already in a fraction of the time it took me to get 62 fans here... I'll try to remember to check in here periodically, but it gets more and more difficult...

This site has a few glitches, but it's another music site that hasn't been blocked at my job yet. When it works the way it's supposed to, it's incredible. You can listen to songs in your Last.fm and Pandora favorites lists for free. It does pull in the wrong song occasionally, but I still love it overall. Maybe that will be fixed. It seems to be very new at this point. UPDATE Now it is blocked at work. Insert expletives.

It's been a while... I think I like this site. I've seen something similar before that didn't excite me. Maybe it was this site in an earlier stage of development. This has better organization than that other site did.

I've been overwhelmingly busy lately. A lot of my activity has switched over to friendfeed.com/kmeelah [friendfeed.com/kmeelah] because that really is like StumbleUpon with comments, plus so much more, and it's not blocked at my job (yet). I do check this for visitors regularly still and I hope I'll get to spend more time with it again soon.

This is old, but OH this makes me happy. I had a flashback to being 8 years old and not having Intermediate Accounting homework to do... This is the simplest way to enjoy ROMs that I've found yet. How can this be legal?? UPDATE: I read their copyright statement and now I see how it might be legal. Once again, the internet rules.

I'm late finding this one, but I like it and it fits with the other stuff I've got, so I'm posting it... These are good inspirations for any creative people, I think, not just writers. These examples show which elements each writer found to be the most essential to his or her work. There are good little essays for each room.
