Partied at Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Attended Bastille Day in Paris (and visited Paris for the first time with the one who I will love forever). Hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. Taught children things I am passionate about. Lived like a native in another country for 2 weeks. Stood on an active volcano. Attended the Haight-Ashbury Beauty Pageant. Rode out a major earthquake. Met two men who walked on the moon. Had something published. Drove a car at 110 mph.

This misguided soul - with a fondness for the mechano-villains accused me of a phobia and as such an irrational fear of robots. To reassure me they pointed out that the Tin Man rusted and that rain would be our friend and the robots could never win. They asked, "Have you ever seen a robot swim?" Well, Exhibit A:

Now, people, don't fall for the smooth talking tricks of these digitally deranged dynamos - that is just what the Robot Horde wants. Kinda like political parties and you know how good those are...

- Please, people, is it already too late? Has the horde won? are we so disconnected a people that this book can be published? Do not have sex with robots. It will lead to nothing good. The horde just wants you to think that you can find happiness in such a realationship. But only sadness and robot overlords will result from such activities...

- There is no way I could keep that cat cartoon at the top of by blog for fear that some stumbler, new to my over the top, fantastic, stunning blog, might mistake it for one of those ones with lots of cuteness in it. No cuteness here unless it is being eaten by a robot. Remember - fear the robot horde.

- While I have been warning you for years of the coming robot wars as our mechano-men-soon-to-be-overlords plot with the Adobe hive-mind to eliminate humans I have been remiss in calling out the warning to the rest of the animal kingdom. - Sally Jacobs sent me this - a wonderful scene of a robot dad and his little offspring. DON'T BELIEVE IT! This pastoral scene is just what those sinister silicon sneeks want you to buy into. What better way to over take the humans than to tug on our heartstrings and then they are everywhere - then we will be making the doughnuts for them and they will be living in the large farm house with humans working the fields... Fear the robots...
