cool enough list but Picard as best captain? The quote of Picard to Kirk defines the very reason Kirk is was and always will be the best. Were it not for Kirk, Picard would have been trapped in the nexus forever and all those innocent people would have died and such. The old saying (well, it's old now) goes, "Where's Captain Kirk when you need him?" Can Picards name invoke that sort of confidence? I think not.
Being a Christian man, I obviously have issues here. I believe my "salvation" is secure. I believe in the 144,000, but according to the true bible they are Jews who are converted to belief in Jesus after the "rapture" of the church. The only real reason religion is deemed weird is because they all seem to miss the main point of the bible, specifically that God looks at a persons heart not at a persons works (good or bad). We are all the same to God, and He loves us based on the fact that He is our creator. If we are complete fuck ups it's no surprise to God. Surely there have been more than 144,000 really good JW's since it's introduction, so what would be the point if there's no chance of getting to heaven? You know, lack of belief in any truth is irrelevant to its reality. I'm very confused on many points of the bible, but as long as I know God is looking at my faith not at my actions then I'm fine. Sorry, I'm rambling. The point is that it's not about dos and don'ts. God loves you unconditionally, and you can take that to the bank.
you all are looking for conspiracies where one probably exists, however you never propose any action to rectify the situation. if you don't like your leaders, vote for ones you do like, that's democracy. this is still the greatest country on earth you know.
