I care, a lot. Politically, I self-identify as a Liberal with the spirit of an Independent and the heart of a Moderate. In other words, I'm full of surprises. I used to want to be a tenured philosophy professor holed up in the ivory tower. Now I just want to change the world. I live with mental illness, and I've seen a lot of things - some more beautiful than others. I hope to make a difference in the world in the areas of criminal justice, drug policy, and mental health advocacy, and I just generally try to live a just life to the best of my ability. I value the diversity of ideas, and I surround myself with people and content both that I agree with and disagree with. I judge people not on their conclusions, but on their motivations, and division and snark and excluding someone just for disagreeing is not my style.
