Burning Man 2001: Satans Birthday Party
Rated • 4 reviews • homestead.com

There is something strangely postmodern in this allegedly religious author's criticism of the infamously postmodern event, in that he does not hesitate to hallucinate his own reality. I wonder if he remembers this line from his own scriptures: "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor".

There are sensible criticisms to be made of Burning Man as an event and an organization, but they aren't to be found on this lurid, Christian tabloid piece which, more than anything else, suggests that its author partook of the drugs which really did circulate in bulk in 2001, and didn't know when to say when. This article has found a place in the Internet Archive where, one may hope, the author will allow it to remain, because this one is so bad that it is magnificent.
