    Really putrid. Slow loading pages, the slowest I've ever seen anywhere, the visitor often left facing apparently blank pages for as long as 45 seconds. A staff that responded to a bug that left users unable to login for weeks by pretending that no problem existed. Seemingly random site deletions, which I can vouch for firsthand, having watched my own site at Tripod vanish within days of my having dared to post G-rated photos I took at the 2007 Chrysanthemum Show at the Lincoln Park Conservatory in Chicago, and as many others can vouch for as well, judging from the search engine results that come up under "Tripod" and "deletion", along with "Tripod" and the expletitive of one's choice - and I found that I could think of more than a few, especially after I discovered that the Tripod staff refused to respond to any queries about why they deleted my site. This, too, was apparently a common experience: consider this report, for example.
