From the page: When surrounded by haze and fog the future can seem bleak. How to proceed to get beyond being overwhelmed is not an uncommon experience. Even in the midst of emotional turmoil so many things lead to misunderstanding one's environment; Vision is at best clouded, often by the fear of not knowing how to handle what needs to be changed. Many of them are obvious but approach so fast at the same time that they become blind spots that gets larger as paralysis develops, diverting our attention from its course.

From the page: When thinking about The Singularity, the image of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Black Holes and Einstein comes to mind, yet another notion defines it as a point on the path of technological acceleration, where convergence of everything is at its fastest, and creating an emergent technology with its own version of sentience to challenge our own appears credible.

From the page: Grammar was always a difficult learning experience; There were too many rules, too many exceptions, and the struggle to remember all of them without being bored or distracted by something else has been daunting. What I learned over time was that grammar was essential when organizing thoughts with emphasis on content, and allowing for clearer communication when struggling to articulate thought to page, although the original hope was that grammar would become, over time, an unconscious event resulting from repetition.

From the page: Algebra, well known as a main branch of Mathematics is not only heavily utilized by science, but also serves philosophy by finding prototype equations for a set of problems about life and existence usually referred to as the Mysteries. One hope is to find a solution to some of the problems that are specific to the individual, a motivation for some to seek out the truth in themselves or in their search for others who they think know more.

From the page: In winter, on a stormy night as millions of snowflakes carried by the wind blanketed the landscape of sprinkled forms and muffled sounds, only the coughing of someone with a cold could be heard. The air was usually wet with a lingering spray of mucous mixed with bacteria dripping from a red swollen sinus when Grandma Seydee noticed the coughs, and a twitch in her right eye would appear. Then she began mumbling to herself incoherently, until she came to life as if animated with a purpose. She would holler, "wash your hands before after you pick your nose," as she examined every-one's hands, turning to look at the palms to see if they were growing hair, as her false teeth glared over the refrigerator in a glass filled with yellow water.

From the page: January 1, 2011 is a landmark date for many Americans as it marks the beginning of the Baby Boom generation's passage into old age, turning 65. Considering the social changes effected by those born between January 1, 1946 and December 31,1964, it's an important milestone. For that reason I am posting a re-edited essay I wrote in 2007, "On The Baby Boom Generation."
