The comments got me in stitches. I guess some people are sick of seeing this poster on AT. Personally, I love the quote and there's a reassuring feeling after reading it so I am going to get one for our place but boy can designers get snarky.

Georgiana Cavendish, the Duchess of Devonshire was the fashionista of her time. But not only was she beautiful and incredibly charming; she was also an influential socialite who helped the Whig party establish their political power. Intriguing and Inspiring historical figure.

Copying the Sartorialist? Anyways I always find what people are wearing more interesting than what "designers" deem high fashion. Interesting but not good as the Sartorialist.

My sentiments exactly!

From the page: "When I was an activist, I kept telling people, look, we are asking people to change the way they live their lives, but we aren't telling them HOW to do it. And when we do, it's awfully expensive or ugly or crunchy.I have become more or less a teacher of eco-friendly living; I do get involved politically time to time, but at the end of the day, I think my contributions on sharing decorating or entertaining solutions can be just as effective as passing legislation."
