Last month the UN conducted a worldwide survey with one question:
"Would you please give your honest opinion about solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"
The survey was a huge failure.
In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant
In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant
In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant
In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant
In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant
In South America they didn't know what "please" meant
In the US they didn't know what "rest of the world" meant.

A nicely written article that should be an eye-opener, not only for Americans but to the people of the world. We all experience elections, and we need to be guided in the choices that we make. Cliche as it is, the future of our respective countries lies in our hands. Choose a leader that SERVES, and a leader who LEADS.
Though I strongly believe in the separation of the church and the state, it pays sometimes if we apply some teachings that we learned from the Church. Pure reason and opinion sometimes can lead us to wrong choices and decisions.
