I'm getting very engrossed with the books by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He is all about truth.

We have a tv show called Lie To Me about an expert on reading people, gestures, tics, and other clues to what someone is thinking which is often at odds with what they're saying verbally. The show is based on a real life man named Paul Ekman, and he, too, is about truth. I have one of his books (Telling Lies: Clues to Deceit in the Marketplace, Politics, and Marriage...), one of the Dalai Lama's books (How to See Yourself As You Really Are), and now I have a book that is a dialogue between Ekman and the Dalai Lama (Emotional Awareness: Overcoming the Obstacles to Psychological Balance and Compassion).

    This should prove very interesting.

Another interesting thing is that the Dalai Lama studies quantum physics in addition to metaphysics.

Another book I just read is True Unity: Willing Communication Between Horse and Human by Tom Dorrance and Milly Hunt Porter. It is about horse psychology. I enjoyed it, but in a lot of places the ideas are clear as mud. If you don't already have some experience with horses under your belt, I wouldn't expect you to gain much from reading it.

Hello, visitors, and welcome back if you haven't been here for all the time I've been out. I'm battling some personal issues and haven't been online very much. I look forward to visiting the pages of my friends, both new and older.

Today I found a site about housebreaking puppies at Housebreaking Puppies.

I know this frustration after a lack of success with a puppy of my own, and I've always been frustrated by not knowing how I should have handled it. I was still a kid, and my parents thought they knew how and told me what to do. It just never worked and my parents would have a conniption whenever the puppy (a cute little black and tan doxie) would leave a statement on the floor of their sterile house. (Both are OCD about cleanliness.)

May you all enjoy a blessed Memorial Day!

I switched my settings to allow R-rated content just to see this blog, and I'm glad I did! There is so much originality here, so many treasures to see and read. One of the best blogs I've seen yet!
