The Ark Animal Rescue in UK run by compassionate, caring people do a truly wonderful job caring for and rehoming animals in need. From the site introduction:- We have have long-term animals who will stay with us for the rest of their lives as they cannot be rehomed for a variety of reasons and animals which are waiting for a loving home. We take in animals for adoption from private homes, other rescues and sometimes via the dog warden. We have mainly dogs and cats but also have rabbits and small furries, including ferrets from time to time as well as occasional other species. We do not keep exotics.
