Recent post (video) on Awadagin Pratt's personal blog about Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto is great. Reminds of the old lectures of Leonard Bernstein. Music education is high on Prof. Pratt's list, and explains his unconventional way of sometimes dressing and his dreadlocks; the idea is not to leave classical music for the snobs; you can be yourself and enjoy the music too. It helps to understand the music; that is why I loved Bernstein's young people's concerts when I was a kid. Pratt seems to follow in that tradition and is articulate enough to make music education also entertaining. But you do have to listen ... pay attention to the words and the sounds.
