A great review by Connexion Bizarre of the SnareBurst CD.

There is one thing the reviewer doesn't know though... He says, "Surely, having gone to all the effort of painstakingly rehearsing and constructing these live performances, one would feel enough attachment to them to grace them with descriptive titles?"

The behind the scenes story about SnareBurst is about two high school friends (J Shepherd and J Betty), reunited after many years of living in different parts of the country, got together with their instruments and recorded the CD in one take, with no rehearsals, no editing, etc.

J Betty said, "When music feels right it doesn't have to be rehearsed." SnareBurst described music as universal and went on to say it didn't matter that they hadn't seen each other in so long. They were both practicing musicians on their own. After just one show and one CD Release, tragedy struck as the Intolerance Records / SnareBurst tour bus struck a patch of ice on I-90 and careened into oncoming traffic. J Shepherd escaped unscathed but J Betty lost his life.
