Even more on election fraud. Why are there no serious cases about this?

From I Heart Photo, Robert Rainey's Two Way.

"I am attempting to subvert the traditional genre of couples portraiture by inserting myself as the generic, blank, antiseptic, counterpart to a person who is portraying themself as a 'unique entity'."

Flirting Her Way To Victory

"At least three times last night, Sarah Palin, the adorable, preposterous vice-presidential candidate, winked at the audience. Had a male candidate with a similar reputation for attractive vapidity made such a brazen attempt to flirt his way into the good graces of the voting public, it would have universally noted, discussed and mocked. Palin, however, has single-handedly so lowered the standards both for female candidates and American political discourse that, with her newfound ability to speak in more-or-less full sentences, she is now deemed to have performed acceptably last night."

As far as I'm concerned emergency contraception for rape victims is a far cry from the normal abortion debate. Some people keep trying to redefine the terms until women have no contraceptive choices at all.
Edge: WHAT MAKES PEOPLE VOTE REPUBLICAN? By Jonathan Haidt

Interesting reading on morals and political leanings. Definitely a lot to be garnered from it, though I still feel that there is a fair amount of "duping" going on in politics. I see so much misinformation out there that it's impossible that people only vote one way or another based on morals. It's true that a lot of the misinformation could come from the rationalization of the "disgust" or other moral responses, though.

From the page: "Doctor Phillip Butler is a 1961 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a former light-attack carrier pilot. In 1965 he was shot down over North Vietnam where he spent eight years as a prisoner of war. He is a highly decorated combat veteran who was awarded two Silver Stars, two Legion of Merits, two Bronze Stars and two Purple Heart medals.

After his repatriation in 1973 he earned a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of California at San Diego and became a Navy Organizational Effectiveness consultant. He completed his Navy career in 1981 as a professor of management at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. He is now a peace and justice activist with Veterans for Peace."
