This Blog is my personal blog about my thoughts on how aging is beginning or has affected me OR whatever I am presently thinking about - it could be most anything from politics to religion, software/hardware reviews, education and other topics that are controversial or interesting to me or it could just be what is going on in my life now. I am happily married and have two wonderful daughters and am a proud grandfather twice over (I love my "boys"). I am a native Maineiac -- originally from Newport, Maine. I went in the Coast Guard when I was 17 and stuck around there for almost 21 years. After my retirement I had a choice between going to work in the computer industry or working with kids in a social services career. I chose social services which eventually led me to being a Certified Special Education teacher. Now I am serving as an AmeriCorps Grants Program Officer.
