What I like about this light box are the open sides and the PVC framework providing mounting of the requisite light sources anywhere along each frame leg. This is so much simpler to make than the more common (cardboard) boxes with light sources supported on their own by whatever means possible. Although the light box shown doesn't include diffusing material on the side 'walls' of the box, they'd be easy to affix by the same method as the background panel. I assume that side panels would soften the brightness of the lights and reduce reflections. This is a great DIY photography accessory.
