Stop! Make no excuses.

We reach an age where we can finally say…this is it.
Reaching our peak requires us to stop fixing what isn’t wrong
Yes, I have a saggy butt. My breasts aren’t high and perky either.
The few wrinkles around my eyes are more visible, the laugh lines
around my mouth drive me nuts.
Yet,I look in the mirror and smile at the person I have evolved into over the years.
I raised a family.Helped my spouse threw thick and thin.(now divorced)
Having done all the things required of me throughout the years I succeeded.
So why is it that when we seek a new partner they can’t accept us as we are?
From where I sit I can tell you it’s because they see themselves in us
and refuse to let go of their own youth.
You are better now than you were at 25.
You have charm, intellect, experience and a joy for life that you didn’t when you
Dammit, you earned every wrinkle and furrow and should never allow another
person to tell you differently.
If they are turned off by the person you are…move on. You are fabulous.
If they can’t see it, it’s their loss.
