Love is a powerful force.
It can take us to great heights
and leave us feeling light and airy.
Yet it has been the most abused and misused force.
Many degraded things pass for love.
True love is based on understanding, mutual trust and respect
and not simply on transient emotions.
Love is being in balance,
that is, in harmony with the self, God and each other.
Love dwells in the soul.
We must allow this love to flow out and around us.
Without love, all of life's treasures are locked away
from our vision and experiences,
for indeed 'love is the key.'

Thoughts have great power,
they are like seeds you plant in your mind.
The more you hold onto a particular thought,
the more power you invest in it.
Positive thoughts give us energy and strength.

Negativity is the result of faulty thinking.
You can change if you want to.
You can't control other people,
situation or circumstances,
but you can control what is going on inside you.

Aung San Suu Kyi spends her 64th birthday detained in the notorious
Insein Prison:
On Friday 19th June, it will be Aung San Suu Kyi's 64th birthday. She will spend her birthday detained in the notorious Insein Prison.
On May 18th Aung San Suu Kyi was put on trial, charged with breaching the terms of her house arrest after an American man, John Yettaw, swam to her house and refused to leave. The dictatorship are using the visit as an opportunity to extend her detention.
Her trial has now been adjourned until 26 June. Aung San Suu Kyi has already spent more than 13 years in detention and faces another 5 years in prison.

What matters most
is showing up for your life

"What two or three little things
can I do today
that would move me forward?"
You'll be amazed
at how much distance
you can cover
by taking it in increments.
The little things add up;
the inches turn to miles;
and we string together our efforts
like so many pearls.
