My musical taste have been all over the place lately and it's been... refreshingly AWESOME? It's been a weird week listening to Minor Threat (WHAT?!), old old 90s Smashing Pumpkins (the closer my birthday gets, the more I want to relive my childhood), and shamefully, THE TWILIGHT NEW MOON SOUNDTRACK (WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!? I shame myself! SHAME!!! But when you have Thom Yorke, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, and Band of Skulls (!!) you really can't help yourself and indulge in the insanity that is overrated teenage/vampire romance. P.S. Clarification note: I'M NEVER WATCHING THE MOVIES OR READING THE BOOKS.)

Anyway. That was a sorry attempt to regain my dignity. It didn't work anyway. Whatevz, man! Back to the song. I've never been a huge Cure fan but after listening to this song on repeat for the last day and half, I'm totally rethinking my ways and downloading some more of these gems.

Since it's still in the 90s (IT'S FUCKING OCTOBER. SCREW YOU, GLOBAL WARMING.) I'm going to consider this a summer jam. And an AWESOME summer jam it is.

This song is so lazy but frenetic and those drums always kill me a little bit. After seeing them play a couple of months ago I was more than a little underwhelmed by the dude's drunk drumming (but still a little impress because he still managed to hold a beer in one hand during this mess of a show) and by the Palladium's choice to keep the lights on (what the hell?! By the way -- never go there for a show. Seriously, it sucks balls. It's like listening to music through someone's ass.). Regardless, No Age has grown on me a lot and it's all thanks to this 2 minute jam. ENJOY.
