My musical taste have been all over the place lately and it's been... refreshingly AWESOME? It's been a weird week listening to Minor Threat (WHAT?!), old old 90s Smashing Pumpkins (the closer my birthday gets, the more I want to relive my childhood), and shamefully, THE TWILIGHT NEW MOON SOUNDTRACK (WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!!? I shame myself! SHAME!!! But when you have Thom Yorke, Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, and Band of Skulls (!!) you really can't help yourself and indulge in the insanity that is overrated teenage/vampire romance. P.S. Clarification note: I'M NEVER WATCHING THE MOVIES OR READING THE BOOKS.)

Anyway. That was a sorry attempt to regain my dignity. It didn't work anyway. Whatevz, man! Back to the song. I've never been a huge Cure fan but after listening to this song on repeat for the last day and half, I'm totally rethinking my ways and downloading some more of these gems.

Whoa whoa whoa. Whaaaaaat? I have to say that I'm not the biggest Springsteen fan because, well, not my era? Possibly too epic in all of his Bruce Boss-iness? Probably (and more to the point -- I don't like storytelling-type songs).

This cover by Bonnie "Prince" Billy has just been added to my Why So Depressed, Cover Song? playlist. And it's the only one. Okay, so that just makes this song even more depressing even though I'm pretty sure this is suppose to be uplifting. THANKS Bonnie "Prince" Billy.

I have brought Terence Trent D'Arby and, to a slightly lesser extent, wishing wells right up in YOUR FACE. (I'm looking for a wishing well after work. Wish me luck.)

This song and I have become best buds since, I don't know, 30 minutes ago? Since then I've been playing it on repeat and have had to stop myself from doing a mind-boggling/bottling shoulder dance and jig combo.
