Now and then you just get songs stuck in your head. Space Lord by Monster Magnet has been in my head all night. While the video isn't my favourite and it's far from their best work (check out their early psychedelic stoner rock stuff) it's a killer tune that deserves being played at full volume on repeat.

Anyone remember Splashdown? Probably not, but their vocalist, Melissa Kaplan, has since go on to form Universal Hall Pass. This has got to be one of the best songs I've heard in a long time, and I'm just sorry it took me so long to find it.
