Games on Linux ... good times. And now downloadable versions...woot!

I typically use Kopete, but Pidgin is simply the better client for protocol compatibility, plugins, and usefulness. While it doesn't integrate itself in KDE as well as Kopete does (for obvious reasons), it is the more advanced client (at least comparing it to the 3.5 series version of Kopete). Currently it uses evolution's address book for meta contact info, while Kopete uses Kaddress book, so that is about the only differentiating feature that was of interest on the Kopete side. On the other hand, Pidgin does a way better job using encrypted messaging than Kopete in my opinion, but that's just an opinion.

This would have been a good table to have in college when living in the dorms.

Steps on creating a prefixed Portage tree on Solaris. This page has high marks in my book. Putting Gentoo's primary strength on other platforms is awesome, especially if you are a developer. I've tested this on Solaris 10 on a T2000, and it is good stuff. Seeing how Solaris borrows so many tools from FreeBSD, they should look into the FreeBSD ports collection or even this as a good alternative for delivering software. Now I can have my cake and eat it too.

Cool game where you exercise timing to jump from building to building. I like this game because I can remember a time and an age where people paid for games like this. It's really more about guessing then strategy at times however. Memorization of the level knowing when to jump since you can't control your movement about the X axis.

Nifty game to really test how well you can multitask. I swear as the duration increases in this game, I feel the attmept to suck my brain's power dry. Oh wait, that's just Stumble Upon in general.
