From the page: "The chord namer will automatically name a chord shape (if a valid chord shape is supplied.) Simply select the circles on the fret board that correspond to where your fingers go and hit 'Go'." Especially handy if you're experimenting with chords while composing or transcribing, want to write the chord down but are unsure how to label it. Eventually it's just as well to learn chord construction and figure out chord names from intervals. But this is not only useful for labeling chords on charts but also for a self-test on chord naming skills while working at mastering chord construction theory.

Look at the ratio of bands available to bands wanted to get a sense of what musicians are up against (unless you are one in which case you already know :P).
