I got a new job, I'm spending the weekend at Corpus Christi with my best friend, and damned if my new jeans aren't the teensiest bit looser than they were last week.
This is the first MJ article I've read, well, ever, that didn't fawn all over MJ, gloss over or downright ignore his myriad of faults, and make him out to be anything less than what he was: one fucked-up sickass individual.
Sorry to hear you're dealing with fucktards too. I got used the other day by a "barely friend" who wanted me to run her to the other side of town so she could "run in" to her optometrist's office. 90 fucking minutes later I'm still sitting outside, in a hot-ass truck, and the only reason I didn't leave her was because she had the foresight to bring her kid along (probably as insurance against it).

Sucks when people use you. Don't give up on all of us though; the good folks are just fewer & farther between.
I just got word today that the job I interviewed for on Monday has decided to bring me on board at almost what I was earning before I was let go. I start Monday!!
I was laid off 3/30/09 from my job of almost 3 years ... now, finally, I can say goodbye to daytime TV & get back into doing a job that I love!!
Thanks to all who gave me support & encouragement over the last few months. I have to admit, things were looking a little bleak for a while ... SU friends are the best!
