Take it however you want... but without natural predators the pigeon population of any city can and will get out of control, that is until another predator named "disease" comes in. I think its better to let a pigeon die at the hands of a beautiful bird of prey, instead of dropping into someone's soup from disease. The Hawk is also at danger, if she ingests any of the parasite ridden meat she can be harmed also. There should be education all around.
