I went to college to become an astronomer, and wound up being a truck driver. I was once known as a 'gentleman biker'. I've evolved into a 'subversive Christian'. That is, I still live a lot by the world view, and I believe in Jesus. I like to play board (and video) games. I like movies, books and (too much) satellite TV. I also like to travel; so far by car (I would love to fly if I could afford it). Two years ago, a tumor was removed, and my spine was reconstructed. Later, I de- veloped a very painful nerve condition, and I can no longer work. For the previous 5 years, I was a semi- truck driver. I really miss it (the travel, mostly). I figure I'm too old to date or raise a family. If the right woman came along, I could be persuaded (family or not). I used to 'party hearty'; what can I say? It was the '70s. Those days are mostly behind me now. I'm pretty new to the internet.
