I do like Google Sites, it beats not having a website. They are good they give you 100 MB of space compared to the small little 15 MB of space that geocities gave you.

Program is very hard to use, especially when you've got Windows Paint and have been using it for a long time. This program has too many features that I am not ready to use. It's not for beginners, that's for sure!! Read the manual before downloading and using the software!

This page has projects and information about crystal set radio for the longwave, AM, and shortwave bands. If you really know what you are doing you could build one for any band such as FM, and other radio bands such as VHF and UHF. To build a very simple crystal set you need a coil, a earphone and a diode. Then add a variable tuning capacitor to the coil.

Google is ok, but they have mixed up search results. Some search engines are better and different. When you want to look up articles about things a bunch of junk sites and blogs come up. Also using google I see the same old websites. Nothing new!

This site has great prices on parts and great stuff. They even offer a radio telescope here for solar observations.

Great source and reference information, BUT there is no way to get like 25 of the ones you want unless you're a company or a OEM. Companies get discount prices while the consumer gets the surplus scraps and retail mark up on inductors.

Place is interesting, I have already found the information on how to get started it was located in the small e book. Still he should have it available for download via pdf. One circuit looks like a crystal set radio circuit that is not connected to an earphone it is connected directly to a tape or IC recorder.

Good high graphics site, but does not have any information on how to build a "Franks" box. This site is trying to hide information from you.
