The assassination of Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy, a United States Senator and brother of assassinated President John F. Kennedy, began just after midnight on June 5, 1968, in Los Angeles, California when he was shot a number of times. The mortal shot came from behind him and entered his brain which resulted in his death 26 hours later. He had just won the California primary election for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States and most political analysts are convinced he would have become the next President of the United States had he lived. Sirhan Sirhan, a 24-year-old Palestinian immigrant, was later convicted of Kennedy's murder and is serving a life sentence for the crime but because of numerous problems with the case against him investigators and researchers now find that he could not have been the one who fired the fatal shot. The fact is that the killing has not been satisfactorily adjudicated. The US Government along with many in the private sector have used murder, threats and financial means to cover up the truth and to continue that cover up. We petition the US Government to face up to that truth and admit that high government officials including FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover and President Lyndon Baines Johnson were part of this criminal conspiracy that included members of organized crime and contract agents of the Central Intelligence Agency.
