I suspect that there are not many of us left out here who were serious Linda Hargrove fans. Her popularity came before the days when country music was adopted by the young folks. She didn't have the classic kind of voice, but she could sing a country song down & dirty like nobody else. If you believe country music can't tug at your heartstrings, just look her up on You Tube

In this campaign, there is no, nor has there ever been a Republican candidate who has the personality to beat President Obama. Realizing that, they have spent the whole campaign just beating up on each other. I suppose it has worked in eliminating Herman Cain, Michelle Bachman. Jon Huntsman, and Rick Perry, but it surely makes it seem like a divided party. Actually they have quite a few things out there for which they could be attacking President Obama, which seems a little more productive to me.
