The reality for many American families is that they're being swallowed alive by debt they willingly assumed which was offered to them on shiny silver platters by predatory lenders. Still, when the economic stimulus funds arrive from Uncle Sam, how many of these families will you wager are going to be smart enough to apply this one-time windfall towards lessening their debt? It's all over but the crying. New Xbox 360, anyone? **sheesh**
