There is no question that globalization is the source of every other crisis that the world faces today; and it has reached the point of no return. The whole world is now a small global village. Blaming others, or trying to run away so that you are not affected by it wont work. The "global" crisis will continue to escalate at top speed; affecting everything from the economy, politics, security, environment, health, culture, etc. etc. So rest assured, there is no danger of repeating past mistakes because no one will be able to escape, hide, isolate or retreat from the interconnection which has taken place. It would be easier to unscramble scrambled eggs.
Globalization is the revelation of a new level of connection between us. It should be beneficial, but as we can see, it only causes more problems; and it is because we are using the integral global system backwards â€" aiming to suppress one another, instead of learning to work together. We keep trying to defeat each other, to put others down and be superior to them.
Egoism's growth has evolved into the situation we have before us today, and humanity's only hope of overcoming this destructive force, is in uniting together in our efforts.
The financial crisis already taking effect is just the tip of the iceberg. The level of destruction that will unfold on a global scale will force us to realize the cause of the imbalance to nature - Ourselves!
In thinking we are above nature, ... by taking its laws into our own self serving hands, ... nature will show us just how small and insignificant we really are.
