The timing couldn't be worse, SETI scientists say.
Earlier this year, astronomers said that the Kepler space telescope had found over 1200 possible planets,
dozens of which could be suitable in terms of size and temperature to sustain life.
Sad news for astronomy and for alien research, and even worse news if there is in fact intelligent life out there wanting to contact Earth.
Trust in yourself or no one else ever will.
I'll tell you this:..a man without fire is a dead man..
In case y'all didn't know - I'm from the South lands...
Now I ain't saying this video represents life `round here completely - Just things goin' on that you don't know.

...and I finished the day with this :
A child's mind is easily inspired, violence fuels the fire
Video games and chaotic scenes, are what they see, act out violently
Absorbing what they view, repeating words we say
In a culture of profanity, ignorance starts at a young age
Throughout history, bloodshed would always be
No way to stop the conflicts fought, we have destructive genes
Entrenched in our anatomy, from genetically enhanced apes
Planted by beings from space, a loathing hate we can't delete
In this endless cycle of violence, we can't escape
From the big bang to street gangs, we live it everyday
When this endless cycle of violence, reinvigorates
Give us our lives, give us strength
TV shows the mind to kill, images of murder every night
Triggers their brains, to be adult like in every way
A baby sitter for lazy parents, we can't control it
The corporate sponsors, flood them with gluttons
Absorbing what they view, repeating words we say
In a culture of profanity, ignorance starts at a young age
Throughout history, bloodshed would always be
No way to stop the conflicts fought
We have destructive genes
In this endless cycle of violence, we can't escape
From the big bang to street gangs, we live it everyday
When this endless cycle of violence, invigorates
Give us our lives, give us strength

HAARP Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX) platform
from the page... HAARP's waterfall charts and magnetometer charts gave evidence
of an ongoing weather war between the United States government and foreign states...
Thanks for sharing: ~ WideEyeWanderer ~ What a wonderful place we live at.
My heart remains lovin' you..
...Right before you owe me-Hide the knife.Mark the sight..and then you want to know me...
Don't ask me when but ask me why.
Don't ask me how but ask me where.
There is a road, there is a way.
There is a place,there is a place.
I know places we can go babe.
Comin' home,come unfold babe.
And the high won't fade here, babe.
No the high won't hurt here, babe.
Why are we led by a misled generation....?

Now that I can't use my "old" background codes, html in the about me box and SU removed the ability to embed widgets, the blogs around here look pretty much the same as any other blog throughout the interweb...meh. Does anyone know of other sites that will let users be as creative.Once we were able to be around here,in what I might add,I felt was a very unique and original way.Preferably a site that plans on staying consistent for longer than 6 months to a year.If so,let me know. ~THANKS~
(sad - I'm just not that freakin' peachy any more...)

you might try tumblr, folks seem to be pretty happy with it.

...just that it feels like a ungrateful slap in the face to go through pages redoing them because of unannounced changes.Redoing content others and I have DISCOVERED and contributed freely to SU.Content contributed from members that has helped this network become what it is today.Do you really want to lose creative content that has kept folks here at SU and helped contribute to the success that SU may or may not enjoy today? (not really expecting an answer-just putting "food for thought" out there)
Yea..every several months or so SU will change something..people freak...then learn to deal with it..it happens.
Burning Man-now a household name but the older, more fascinating, Rainbow Gatherings are still obscure. Every summer since 1972 thousands of people co-create a temporary city deep in the wilderness of our national forests. Rainbow Gatherings aren't a music festival, people are there to practice anarchy and hippy spirituality. The "main event" happens to be when the Gathering culminates on July 4th in an elaborate prayer for peace. We Love You documents the 2008 Rainbow Gathering in Wyoming. The Rainbows' peaceful ways are challenged when federal agents charged with monitoring them shoot pepper spray projectiles into the children's (Kiddie Village) area of the gathering.
