I'm a history fan (and sci-fi and speclative history fan) and poli-sci nerd. I'd include economics and theology in my nerdiness, but that's a slippery slope which ends with me claiming to be a "social sciences nerd," which is way too broad. So I'll stick with "poli-sci nerd." I'm interested in learning and dialog as a method of learning. Constructive conversation, absent of ad hominem attacks and other faulty arguments, is the only way our country and humanity will advance.

Fantastic detail and time-line of reporting on a recent and interesting event. Whether or not the Syrian really had a Korean nuclear weapon, the Israeli military has shown the middle east yet again just how hard-core they are, and thus able to defend themselves from nuke-less Iran. Israel's military and intelligence capacity is top-notch bad-ass, but preemptive bombings don't pave the way for peace.
