I am a transplanted New Yorker of Russian background living now in Savannah, Georgia. I am atraditional Eastern Orthodox Christian and would like to meet others. My husband is a professor of Ancient History. We are "caregivers" of two cats, Murzik and Celeste. (Both of one Siamese persuasion or another--Murzik is 24lb! (10+ Kilos?!)Even though I'm a "cradle" Eastern Orthodox, I feel like I was sort of "born again" in our faith in my late teens early twenties, when I began reading about and exploring the unique spirituality of the Church. I have a M.S. plus in Byzantine Art History from New York University. I am a dichotomy much of the time (!) and enjoy "Byzantine" chant,Celtic music while still being ecstatic about classic rock of my "youth" and the "60s" (during which I was very young, although I do remember buying the "White Album," at age 12!). I guess I'm either a bit immature or insisting on feeling young!
