Love this b-bear :) She is a writer living her dream, and it looks like a good one...her first novel has been published by Coach House Books, "How The Blessed Live" by Susannah M. Smith; sounds like a good start to me. This blog is mostly visual so far. I must check more tomorrow as I've not enough time to go too far back in her blog but it is very engaging!

Van Gogh remains for me the truest artist of his times, and into modern times...a soul of unrequited love (for I think he loved everyone much more than they loved him with perhaps the exception of his brother Theo) compassion and humility with the passion to paint with great emotion...seeing this when I was 18 left me speechless...it is so rich and vibrant. The print doesn't really do it justice but I post it as a memento of my youth...
