Claude Joachim is a 84 year old man from North Shore City/auckland, New Zealand

Born in Dresden, Germany,1921, emigrated to South West Africa (Namibia) with my parents in 1931. Swakopmund High School 1932-1939.November 1940-46 Andalusia- and Baviaanspoort concentration camps (South Africa). Studied music and commerce. Made Pilot Licence and travelled commercially in SWA and from 1989 in South Africa.Independant Insurance Assessor.Cellist and double bass player in various orchestras.Lecturer in Cello at State Conservatoire of Music,Windhoek,SWA.Concert tours to Europe 1972 and 1986.Emigrated to New Zealand 2000. Private music teacher and now music teacher at Bays Music Centre ( Murrays Bay Intermediate School). Private music teacher in recorder, clarinet, saxophone, cello, double bass and theory of music.Registered with both Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, and Trinity/Guildhall College, both of London.
