An interesting blog from someone as potty about things Arthurian as I am. As well as historical perspectives and links to sources, this includes reviews of book, film and TV versions of the various retellings of the Arthurian myth, including the Sam Neill mini-series, and the current (marvellous) BBC's Merlin.
If you haven't watched the latter, you just don't know what you're missing....

Have I Got News for You is one of the funniest programmes on TV - this extract from an episode with the marvellous Bill Bailey and the incomparable Reginald D Hunter.

Just caught last week's opening episode of this new "blockbuster" from the BBC (for which read "collaboration with another country's TV company, so we can afford better sfx"), described as a cross between Hogwarts, and the recent BBC Robin Hood.
I enjoyed it; excellent acting and effects. However, I have my reservations due to some cavalier departures from the traditional story* (I'm a bit of an Arthurian anorak, I'm afraid). It may turn out to be inspired.
