An amazing story contained in this obituary, of someone who had held a senior position at one of Britain's most notorious nuclear power stations (Windscale, now Sellafield).
Thomas Tuohy courageously faced lethal radiation to deal with a potentially disasterous fire at the station.
It clearly didn't affect his long-term health, as he was about 90 when he died.
